Insurance law firm QCH Legal has unveiled a new brand identity as it rapidly steps up its integration into the QuestGates group. QGLaw will become the new name for the legal arm of QuestGates, which will operate as an independent authorised entity.
Jason Spencer has been appointed Managing Director of QGLaw and is already actively recruiting a select team of legal specialists across the UK.
The firm will initially focus on providing core legal services to support motor, casualty and property markets as well as enhance the group’s offering in areas such as recoveries and fraud. It also intends to swiftly expand into specialty markets and explore other strategic opportunities.
Chris Hall, Managing Director of QuestGates said, “Following our purchase of QCH Legal in November last year we have moved swiftly to integrate legal services into our core offering for clients. It became more apparent that the move to QGLaw would strengthen our proposition and accelerate future growth – in particular aligning our offering to the third party, first party and specialist areas of QuestGates. A key advantage of our integrated offering is the ability to create a unique operating model and be agile and competitive in terms of pricing.”
Jason Spencer, Managing Director of QGLaw said, “I am delighted to have been appointed Managing Director of QGLaw. Our plans for expansion are firmly in place and we are already establishing a presence of multiple legal hubs, starting with locations in Bolton, Birmingham and London. We have seen that it can be increasingly difficult to progress in a traditional law firm and by offering something different, we are confident of attracting individuals who can actively contribute to shape the business for the benefit of our clients.”
