QuestGates group today announces it has strengthened its position within the UK claims and loss adjusting sector with the acquisition of QCH Legal Ltd.
Based in Bristol, the company has carved a niche within the insurance industry dealing with liability and property disputes along with indemnity issues to name a few areas of expertise.Chris Hall, Managing Director of QuestGates said, “we are delighted to welcome QCH to the QuestGates family. The addition of legal services to our ever-growing claims management offering is a natural and exciting step for the company.”
QCH Legal will continue to operate under its existing brand but will immediately take advantage of being part of the wider QuestGates group. Kevin Morgan, who is a former partner at Lyons Davidson, will remain a Director of QCH Legal.
As a result of the acquisition QuestGates is also pleased to announce that Jason Spencer, formerly Global President of Crawford Legal Services will be joining as a Consultant focused on the development of the Legal Services Division. Jason has over 30 years experience in the legal profession and prior to being appointed global president was the founder and managing director of Crawford’s UK legal services business. Prior to joining Crawford’s he was a partner at both Hill Dickinson and Plexus Law.
The acquisition is another key milestone for QuestGates after its recent purchases of C&S Associates, CPA, Structural Surveys and Ramsay McMichael, with further announcements anticipated which will cement the group’s position as the leading provider of innovative, service driven services which enhance insurers claims handling.
