1 March 2022: Specialist loss adjuster QuestGates has further strengthened its rapidly growing liability complex loss team with the appointment of Lynne Macdonald to the role of Complex Loss Adjuster.

Based in Glasgow, Lynne will focus on handling complex loss cases in Scotland and Northern England, reporting to Jon Toulson, Head of Liability Complex & Major Loss. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise across a wide range of liability claims having specialised in complex losses for over a decade most recently as complex liability loss adjuster at Sedgwick.

Lynne’s appointment is the latest in a series of new recruits joining the QuestGates complex loss team over the past 12 months, including Steve Sawyer, who joined the business in a senior technical and complex loss role in the summer. Andrew Mayne, a highly regarded lawyer and claims specialist with particular expertise in transport and railway cases, also joined the team.

In response to the growth of this team and the increasing demand for the liability third party services offered by QuestGates, the business has also now decided to bring its specialist public transport and arboricultural liability units, headed by Andy Anderson and Jeremy Carpenter respectively under the umbrella of its complex liability operations.
